Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Who you book with
Bookings made with Secret Travel & Tour and VIP Taxi Lanta are sold by Zwald Travel Planner Co., Ltd., registered at 292 Moo 2, Sala Dan, Koh Lanta Yai, Krabi 81150, Thailand, company registration no. 0815569000065. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Zwald Travel Planner Co., Ltd.
Tours, activities and transfers are carried out by independent local partners: boat operators, drivers, guides, dive centres, cooking schools and other providers.
2. How a booking works
- You send us a request, usually on WhatsApp.
- We reply with the price, the details of the service (date, pickup time and place, what is included) and the conditions of the partner carrying it out.
- Your booking is confirmed once we have confirmed it to you in writing and you have accepted. Until then, prices and availability may change.
- Written messages, including WhatsApp messages, are binding between you and us.
- Please check the details of your confirmation (date, names, number and age of travellers, pickup place, flight number) and tell us at once if anything is wrong. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.
3. Prices and payment
- The price is the one stated in our confirmation. It only includes what is stated on our website or in our confirmation. Anything else (for example extra equipment, food and drinks not mentioned, or tips) is not included.
- The payment method is agreed with you when you book: bank transfer, cash or another method, as long as both parties agree. Any bank or transfer fees are paid by you.
- If a payment agreed before the service has not been received, we may cancel the booking.
4. Age categories
Babies are up to 2 years old, children from 3 to 11 years old, adults from 12 years old. Some partners set a minimum age or other conditions for their activity (for example diving or ATV rides). We tell you about them when you book.
5. If you cancel or change your booking
Cancellations and changes follow the conditions of the partner carrying out the service. We tell you these conditions before your booking is confirmed. A change of date, time or number of travellers depends on availability and may change the price.
6. If you are late or do not show up
Please be at the pickup point at the time given in your confirmation. If you are late or do not show up, the partner's conditions apply. On shared transfers and join-in trips, the driver or boat may not be able to wait because of the other passengers.
7. If we or our partner cancel
A service may be cancelled because of weather, sea conditions, safety, a join-in trip not reaching its minimum number of participants, or any other reason beyond our control. In that case we first offer you another date. If no other date suits you, the amount you have paid for that service is refunded, using the payment method agreed with you and within a reasonable time.
We are not liable for other costs you may have as a result, such as accommodation, flights or other bookings.
8. Changes on the day
The captain, driver or guide may change the route, the order of stops, the timings or the activity itself for reasons of safety, weather, tides, sea conditions, national park rules or traffic. Their decisions on safety are final. Rain alone does not mean that a trip is cancelled: the partner decides whether it can go ahead safely.
Such changes do not give a right to a refund when the service has largely been carried out.
9. Transfers
- Travel times are estimates. They depend on traffic, ferries, weather and road or sea conditions. Please allow enough time for your flight, ferry or other connection. We are not liable for a missed flight, ferry or connection unless it is caused by our own fault.
- Tell us the number and size of your bags when you book. Extra or oversized luggage may need a larger vehicle, at an extra cost.
- Shared transfers may stop to pick up or drop off other passengers.
- Child and baby seats are only provided if confirmed in writing.
- If your flight or ferry is delayed, tell us as soon as possible. Waiting beyond the agreed time follows the partner's conditions.
10. Your responsibilities and safety
- Please follow the instructions of the crew, drivers and guides, and wear a life jacket or safety equipment when asked.
- Tell us before booking about anything that may matter for an activity: a health condition, pregnancy, reduced mobility, recent surgery, or not being able to swim. Some activities are not suitable for everyone. A partner may refuse participation for safety reasons. If this is because information was not given to us before booking, the booking is not refunded.
- Some partners ask you to fill in a health form or to sign their own terms or waiver (for example for diving or ATV rides). Please read them before signing.
- Children remain under the responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults at all times.
- A partner may refuse or stop the participation of anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk, without a refund.
- You are responsible for any damage you cause to equipment, vehicles or boats, beyond normal wear.
11. Risks of outdoor and water activities
Outdoor and water activities involve risks that cannot be fully removed, for example sea conditions, sun and heat, wildlife or uneven ground. By booking, you accept these risks, within the limits allowed by law.
12. Liability
- We are responsible for organising your booking and for the information we give you.
- Each partner is responsible for carrying out its service, for its equipment and for safety during that service.
- We are not liable for events beyond our control (such as weather, natural events, decisions of the authorities or strikes), for personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged during a service, or for the consequences of instructions not followed or of inaccurate information given to us.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the price paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
13. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers outdoor and water activities (including diving if you dive), medical care, repatriation and cancellation. It is your responsibility to check your cover.
14. Right of withdrawal
Tours, activities and transfers are leisure and transport services booked for a specific date. Where the law provides for this exception, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to them.
15. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us on WhatsApp straight away, during the service if possible, so that we can help on the spot. Any complaint must reach us in writing within 30 days after the service.
16. Personal data
We use your details only to handle your booking. We share the details needed for the service (such as your name, phone number, pickup place and number of travellers) with the partner carrying it out. More information is available in our privacy policy.
17. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Thai law. We will always look for an amicable solution first. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, the courts of our registered office have jurisdiction. Any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you in your country of residence remains unaffected.
18. Other provisions
- We may update these terms at any time. The terms that apply to your booking are those in force on the date it is confirmed.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
- A French translation is provided for information. In case of any difference, this English version prevails.
19. Acceptance
By confirming your booking, you accept these terms.
